Cemtech to begin work on West Pokot cement plant
Jan 18, 2019 Sanghi Group, one of the world’s largest cement manufacturers, is a major investor in the plant whose annual production capacity stands at 20 million bags of cement. Cemtech has contracted CITIC Construction, a Chinese consortium comprising several engineering firms, to put up the cement plant on 650 acres in the remote West Pokot region.
